Terms and Conditions

Please read our terms and conditions of booking below.

Arrival and Departure
Check in is available from 3 pm to 6 pm on the day of arrival. If you are unable to check in before 6 pm, please give us an estimated time of arrival, and call us on 01765 677767 if you are delayed. We ask that you please vacate your room by 11.00 am on the morning of departure.

Reservations and Cancellations
Please note that in order to confirm a reservation a £50 deposit is required. This is refundable up to 7 days before your booking. Credit or debit card details are required but no payment is taken from this card unless the booking is cancelled within 7 days of the scheduled date of arrival, or you do not show, or you use the card to pay on departure. For bookings at peak times, and/or special events, we reserve the right to take a deposit payment equivalent to one night’s room rate.

If you fail to arrive at Callender House to take up your booked accommodation (‘no-show’), then you will be liable for the total cost of your booking.

To make a cancellation at any time prior to arrival you must call us on 01765 677767 or email us. We do reserve the right to treat each case on its own merits, and may choose to vary the conditions as set out above. We are a small business, so cancellations do have a large impact on us, especially if we have turned away potential guests in favour of someone who has already booked and then cancels. We do, however, appreciate that unforeseen circumstances can occur, and we try to be as sympathetic and helpful as possible in such cases.

Payment
Payment is due on the morning of departure and we accept most major credit and debit cards, as well as cash.

Smoking
Please note that smoking is not permitted within Callender House.

Children
Callender House welcomes children 12 years old and over.

Pets
Callender House is not suitable for any pets.
